SHIPPING PREPARATION TIME

Orders are shipped in bulk once a week, usually every Friday or Monday. They may take from 1 to 7 business days to be fully processed before they are ready to be dispatched.

In the event of any major delay or changes that may apply (e.g. due to holidays), updates will be shared via my Instagram profile.


Estimated shipping times

Considering that the shop is based in Portugal:

Portugal - 1 to 7 business days
Europe - 3 to 10 business days
International - 5 to 20 business days

Please note that these timeframes are estimated, and delays can happen with any postal service. These estimated times don’t cover preparation time. 


Shipping Restrictions

I am currently unable to ship to the UK, due to VAT laws. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. 

Stay informed about any shipping restrictions that may apply to your country by visiting this page, which provides updates from my local postal services. This will help you understand my current availability for shipping to your location.

Orders placed for countries with shipping restrictions will be fully refunded and cancelled.


Customs and import taxes

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We are not responsible for delays due to customs.


Shipping Responsibility Disclaimer

When placing an order and choosing the standard shipping, the buyer acknowledges and accepts that it is not the store’s responsibility if a package gets lost.


Registered Shipping Recommendation

We highly recommend opting for registered shipping, as it provides enhanced security and expedited delivery and allows you to track your package throughout its journey.

Please note that for international shipments (mostly for US orders and sometimes other countries outside of the EU) the tracking code may change midway as it transitions between different postal carriers. However, we still recommend registered shipping for added security and peace of mind, since with registered shipping, we can also contact our local postal services to inquire about any issues and work to resolve them.


Returns, Exchanges & REFUNDS

Returns are accepted only if an item has been damaged due to improper packaging protection from the store’s end. If you receive a damaged item, please reach out with photo evidence of the item’s condition within 48 hours of receiving it so that the situation can be properly evaluated and discussed! Damages caused by mishandling during shipping by postal services are not the store’s responsibility and should be addressed with the customer's local postal services.

Exchanges will be only allowed if the wrong item is sent to the customer by mistake. In such cases, the shop will cover the additional shipping costs. If the customer has ordered the wrong item and wishes to exchange it, they will be responsible for covering the additional shipping fees.

Refunds
will only be issued as a last resort for damaged or faulty items from the store’s end. If the customer doesn’t want to return or exchange the item, a refund will be considered. Please note that refunds will not be issued for damages caused by mishandling during shipping by postal services. 

Please ensure to request a return, exchange, or refund within 48 hours of the order arriving at its destination. Requests made after this period will not be accepted.

WRONG ADDRESSES AND RETURNED ORDERS

If an incorrect address is provided and the order cannot reach its final destination (or it is returned for any reason), we will contact the customer to discuss the issue. Please note that additional shipping fees may apply for reshipping orders with incorrect addresses or orders returned to us due to address issues.


PRE-ORDERS

By purchasing a pre-order item, the buyer acknowledges that their order will only be fulfilled once the items are produced by the manufacturer and have arrived at my studio. 

By purchasing a pre-order item along with non pre-order items, the buyer acknowledges that their entire order will be shipped only after the pre-order items have arrived at my studio. Taking this disclaimer into consideration, if you wish to receive non pre-order items faster, please purchase them separately.

Please take into consideration that production delays can unfortunately happen. The entire production and shipping process for pre-order items may take longer than a month. Proper updates on pre-order production times will be communicated through my social media! 

NOTE: 
Kindly be aware that pre-order items are non-refundable. 
Please consider this policy when placing your order!


Shipping prices

All shipping prices are calculated based on the combined weight of the items in your order and the destination country. This includes the fees charged by my local post office service, as well as the cost of packaging materials for each order.

Unfortunately, I am unable to calculate shipping costs separately for individual items based on their weight using Bigcartel’s tools. Therefore, a generalized calculation will be applied to every order to prevent significant losses on my part during the shipping process.

Eco-friendly notice

Most of the packaging materials I use are made from paper, greyboard or cardboard.

I’m currently working towards reducing plastic usage as much as I can, though I haven’t completely eliminated it yet. So, I encourage you to join me in reusing and recycling any packaging materials whenever possible. Every small step we take to protect our planet makes a difference!


PRIVACY POLICY

The customer’s information provided during the order placement will solely be used by our shop for order processing and as a means of contact regarding any purchases, if necessary. All provided information is kept private and will only be used until the order is fully fulfilled.
